The cycling club exists to promote cycling but more specifically cycle racing. We have members of all ages and abilities and they ride in a wide range of cycling disciplines. The club is affiliated to all the national governing bodies so when you become a member your club status will be recognised at any sporting event from the BMX track to the Velodrome.
The club is given a yearly grant from the Force Club. This is used to support riders participating in recognised races both nationally and at the POLICE SPORT UK events.
The cycling club has had a settled 2013 -14 with the membership levels remaining constant.
We would of course relish the opportunity to have new members at any fitness level
We have members regularly representing the force club in all the major areas of competitive cycling, Road Racing, Time Trials, Cyclo-cross, Mountain Biking, Sportives and some even dipping a toe into the multi-sport discipline of Triathlon.
