about the holiday LODGE

We have a Force Club holiday Lodge at Cheddar Woods Resort & Spa, Cheddar.

This is available for our members for use with their immediate family for discounted rates – typically 50% less than a similar property in the location at any time of the year.

It is fully kitted out with bedding and living equipment and comes with gas central heating and hot water, TV and Wi-Fi. The lounge has an additional sofa bed available.

The Lodge has 3 bedrooms – and sleeps 6 people.

There are lots of things to do in the area from site seeing, local attractions, cycling and walking, this location is ideally suited for the family or adults alone just wanting to get away from it all.

Sleeps 6 people

There are 2 bedrooms, one with a double bed the other two bedrooms have two single 2’6’’beds. There is also a fold down sofa-bed in the lounge. Bed linen, quilts, and pillows are included. All bedrooms have wall mounted TV's.

Lounge

There is a TV/DVD in the lounge, two seater settee sofa- bed with two matching armchairs plus an additional comfortable chair, electronic fireplace, coffee table and a selection of DVDs. You will be able to plug in your own games console should you wish to.

Parking

The holiday home has its own driveway where you can park one car.

Fully fitted kitchen

The fully kitted out kitchen includes hob, oven, and microwave, fridge-freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, kettle, toaster, crockery, cutlery and utensils. You will need to bring your own tea-towels, kitchen roll, washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, and bin bags.

Other features

There is a decent size dining table and patio doors that lead out onto the Veranda which has a table and chairs and clothes hanger for drying your swimwear/ clothes and towels. Smoking is permitted on the veranda. Tthis Lodge is Pet friendly – and we will permit one medium size dog at £20 per stay.

What's nearby

Cheddar Gorge is one of the Britain’s most spectacular natural landmarks and less than 20 minutes’ walk from Cheddar Woods, Cheddar Reservoir is a stone throw from Cheddar resort where you can book paddle boarding and Sailing. Wookey Hole Caves and Attractions is also close by. The resort itself has a lovely indoor swimming pool and Spa facilities, Gym, restaurant, farm shop plus plenty of activities to keep the children entertained in the day with their Go Activity team members.

CONDITIONS OF HIRE

Below are the main conditions of hire. However please read the full terms and conditions of booking.

    • Access to the property will be available from 3pm on date of arrival
    • The property must be vacated by 11 am at the latest on the date of departure
    • A Force Club Member must be part of the group staying in the lodge
    • The member hiring agrees to take care of the property and contents and to leave it when departing in a clean and tidy state.
    • The property is to be left in a clean and tidy condition (bins emptied, all crockery washed and put away – outdoor foldaway chairs put away)
    • All breakages must be reported and paid for
    • Bed linen, towels and tea towels are provided
    • Site rules must be adhered to at all times
    • Sleeps no more than 6 people
    • Car parking facilities available adjacent to the property
    • We are allowing one medium well-behaved Dog in the Lodge – which must be kept on a lead at all times whilst in the Park. Additional cost is £20 per stay.
