Sailing

The section primarily provides training, recreational sailing and the opportunity for dinghy racing at Police events throughout the country.

It’s about sailing in enjoyable locations: great for physical and mental health and wellbeing.

The section has two sailing centres, one at Baltic Wharf, Bristol Docks and the other at Chew Valley Sailing Club.

We have 7 double hander dinghies (Comet Trio, Laser Bahia, RS Vision and similar) and 3 single-handers (Laser, Laser Pico).

We have several dinghy and Powerboat instructors in the section, so offer training at a considerably cheaper cost to commercial establishments.
